About
You don’t need to keep doing things the way you’ve always done them.
The Reset Hub exists because I’ve learned, repeatedly, that when something isn’t working, the answer isn’t always to try harder.
Sometimes you need to stop.
Step back.
Ask what you’re actually trying to achieve.
And then change the way you’re doing things.
That sounds simple, but it is a skill, and it’s one I believe more women need permission — and practical tools — to develop.
Where The Reset Hub began
The idea for The Reset Hub didn’t actually start with business.
It started at home.
After a particularly difficult period with my family, my daughter’s psychologist suggested I create a resource to help other families navigate getting their children off technology.
I remember thinking: I know how to do this.
Not because I had a magical parenting strategy.
But because I instinctively asked a question I had come to rely on throughout my life:
What are we actually trying to achieve here?
Then:
Is what we’re currently doing getting us there?
If the answer is no, stop.
Reset.
Try something different.
What became obvious to me was that doing more wasn’t going to solve the problem.
We needed to stop, reassess what was actually happening, make some changes, and then move forward slowly.
That became the foundation of The Reset Hub.
The Reset
A reset isn’t starting again.
It’s taking a deliberate pause to:
Stop what isn’t working.
Realign with where you actually want to go.
Change what needs to change.
Then move forward.
I’ve used this approach in businesses, careers, family life and some very unexpected seasons.
And I’ve seen what happens when people realise:
“Oh. I don’t actually have to keep doing it this way.”
That moment is where change starts.
Business was where I first saw the impact
I’ve spent years working with women running service-based businesses.
And I’ve seen the same problem again and again.
Women are trying to build businesses around school drop-offs, pick-ups, children, partners, households, appointments and a hundred invisible responsibilities — while much of the business advice they receive assumes they have the same 9–5 working day as everyone else.
They don’t.
So instead of building proper businesses, many women end up creating businesses that fit into whatever time is left.
They become the marketer.
* The salesperson.
The administrator.
The service provider.
The bookkeeper.
The person who remembers everything.
And eventually, the business becomes another thing they have to carry.
I don’t think the answer is for women to become better at carrying it all.
I think we need to build businesses — and lives — differently.
I’ve seen what happens when you do.
I’ve helped women:
- create enough space to build additional businesses
- save hours of time
- streamline bookings and client processes
- take control of their marketing and sales
- confidently hire staff
- create recurring revenue
- say no without second-guessing themselves
- take holidays without their business falling apart
- book out their weekends
- test ideas, fail, learn and keep moving
- build businesses that work around the lives they actually have
These aren’t just business improvements.
They’re changes in what becomes possible.
More time.
More choice.
More confidence.
More capacity.
I’ve had to reset too.
The Reset Hub isn’t built from a belief that I’ve figured everything out.
Quite the opposite.
I’ve reset careers.
I’ve reset businesses.
I’ve reset ideas about what success should look like.
I’ve reset family life.
And after stepping away from work for more than a year to focus on my family and navigate a very different season of life, I’m now resetting again.
That’s important to me.
Because I don’t think we’re ever “done.”
Our circumstances change.
Our priorities change.
What worked five years ago might not work now.
And sometimes the smartest thing you can do is stop trying to make the old version work.
A little about me
I’m Brinie, founder of The Reset Hub.
My background sits at the intersection of business, marketing, systems and education.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and Bachelor of Laws, and my career has included marketing, law, business ownership and education.
I began my career with a marketing graduate role at MARS, followed by roles in commercial and employment law.
I later built and ran Dragonfly Parties for seven years, growing it to a team of 15 and developing party, corporate and recurring-revenue offerings before COVID brought the business to an end.
In 2020, I moved into online education and began helping service-based business owners simplify their businesses, improve their marketing, save time, create additional revenue and build systems that allowed them to step out of the day-to-day.
I’ve hosted the Simplify Your Business podcast, developed and delivered online programs and workshops, and have been invited to speak and deliver programs for businesses and other educators.
But the qualifications and business experience are only part of the story.
The thing that has stayed consistent throughout all of it is this:
I like helping people see what is possible when they stop accepting that the current way is the only way.
That’s what The Reset Hub is here for.
Not more noise.
Not another list of things you should be doing.
Not a promise that you can have everything if you just become more productive.
Practical frameworks.
Clear thinking.
Realistic plans.
And the space to make changes that actually fit the life you’re living.
Because you don’t always need to do more.
Sometimes you just need to stop.
Reset.
And do things differently.
